2024 Bobcat Boosters Ox Roast

The Ox Roast is one of Grandview Heights’ most beloved traditions. The 2024 Bobcat Boosters Ox Roast kicks off Thursday, September 5 at 5 p.m. at Pierce Field and ends September 7.

The Bobcat Boosters were founded in 1944 by parents of Grandview Heights students with a primary focus on supporting the athletic programs in the community. Over time, the Boosters have expanded their focus to equally include academic and artistic programs. We serve all students in our community and strive to ensure that every student that comes through the Grandview Heights school system benefits from the dollars we raise. In addition to the programs, clubs and athletic teams, the Bobcat Boosters also award $15,000 in annual scholarship to graduating seniors.

The Ox Roast is the most cherished event in our community and has been held annually since 1956. It is a labor of love for the Bobcat Boosters and hundreds of local volunteers that devote their time and energy so the event can be enjoyed by thousands of residents in our community and the surrounding area.
